There are tornadoes out towards the east, since that's there most of the flat part of the state is, but I've always lived close enough to the mountains that tornadoes are rare. Actually, as far as natural disasters go, this is the place to be. XD No tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, etc. Just blizzards and droughts. =P

Nope! DK isn't safe at all if a tornado does hit ._.

We hear a siren every saturday at noon in the summertime. That's scary DK! We have a basement, I just always hope that the cats won't be buttheads cause I can't leave them up here if I have to run down there.

The dogs would be okay, I think. Tempest may need a leash, since he likes to wander and he's a husky. Never let a husky off a leash. But Hunter doesn't like being held on a regular basis, and I don't want him to run off.
