You know the strange thing is....I want to roast another turkey even though I just had turkey a couple of weeks ago.

Someone tell me that I'm crazy... XD

I get fancy when I make my omelets. >.>

I put the eggs in a bowl and add a little bit of milk (for creaminess) and water (for fluffiness) and seasonings (pepper and sage with a bit of salt is a good choice but I vary it up based on my mood) and whip it up really good, then I mix some of the cheese in with the eggs (so that the flavor is well-distributed) and possibly bacon and green onions before pouring the batter into the skillet.

Since I mix all of the good stuff into the batter, I don't have a "fold stuff inside" step generally, but I'll top it with more cheese, or with sour cream, or with more bacon or green onions, or whatever I'm in the mood for.

Omelets are flexible!

EDIT: ... I should get a couple habaneros from my garden and make an omelet for myself soon.

Wow, look at all those fancy toppings! Mine had steak, bell peppers, white onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes! I should switch it up and try it with bacon next time!

That's a great idea about mixing the ingredients with the egg!


My recipe called for me to whisk 3 eggs with 1 tablespoon of sour cream.

Thank God we had chili the next day because I didn't know what to do with a full 16 oz tub of sour cream....

YOu bake cookies and use the sour cream in the cookie batter so they are more delicious.

That's a great idea! I need to find a cookie recipe that uses a lot of sour cream! XD
