also, we were out most of the day, looking at lots of stuff - younger daughter is going to her sophomore formal at the end of the month, and was looking for jewelry and stuff. and i got a long shirt that i can wear with leggings. =)

I need two more treats for what I want. When is the contest over?

so I want to do my hair again - I have black and a smokey blue. now, my own hair is still multi-colored, so the black will cover the weird colors.

my hair - my grey has started invading the top and bangs, and the ends of my hair are still bleached and pretty much still light.

my first thought was to do the ends the smokey blue and the rest black. but then I thought about it and realised that when I would rinse out the black, the water would go through the light ends of my hair. I don't have another bleaching kit. I suppose I could buy one if that's the best way to do that.

on the other hand, younger daughter suggested the smokey blue on my bangs and the top of my hair, and the black at the bottom. also this way, when my grey invades again, it may blend in with the smokey blue.

any suggestions from anyone who may know better than me? I'm open to any of y'all's thoughts on this one. =)

so i finally got a pic of my hair as it is now~


as is kinda visible, the bottom is already light, and multi-colored! XD

but i also had this thought this morning, to buy a bleaching kit anyway, and then do my hair this way:

1*black: do the top down to where it starts getting light. let it set and then rinse out.
2*bleach: the lower part of my hair, where the black may have stained it while i was washing it. let it set and then rinse out.
3*smokey blue: the lower parts that are now bleached. let that set and then rinse out.

I second your daughter's suggestion. Gray fading into smokey blue might actually look really cool and intended.

hmm, i wonder if i should still get a bleach kit to make the upper part of my hair lighter so the smokey blue won't get lost in the hair that's still dark....

I don't have any experience with bleaching, so that'll have to be answered by someone else. Don't want to give you bad advice there.
