Sei, I'm with the 52nd Georgia Volunteer Infantry, co I. Its the same unit one of my ancestors fought in during the actual War of Northern Aggression.

Have you read "Company Aytch" by Sam Watkins? I believe that's his name... amazing book really. I loved his description of rockyface ridge. That fight was probably 10 minutes away from where I live. I love being surrounded by history :p

I know what you mean; here we're more the Revolution (me being from Massachusetts), but I still have a big interest in the Civil War. It's one of my degree specialties. :3

I highly suggest reading it. Sam watkins was a private in the 1st Tennessee and the book is his perspective of the war as a rear line soldier
