Name: Cabhan "Cu" Mactire
Age: 23
Nickname: Verdant Wolf; Wolf; Cu
Appearance: A bit taller than average, not quite "lean". Has low-lying dark-gray wolf ears, and claws on both his hands and feet.
Weapons: Two DE's linked by a long slender chain, two pocketknives (for both close-ranged and throwing), and a collapsible glaive that he can also use in close-range (it collapses down to just the blade and a bit of the handle. Will looks something like this, although not as big).
Background/History: He was born into a decently well-off family, but mute, so his teacher found it impossibly hard to properly teach him in regular classes, and focused on the other students more. Because of this, he found school utterly boring, and often left in the middle of class, preferring to read short novels on his own. He grew up being laughed at, not just from his inability to talk, but also because of his wolf ears, and from that, has hardened himself to most emotions and empathy. Cu is a vigilante, and despises the government for being as controlling as they are. He really couldn't care less if the whole state fell to anarchy.
Strengths: Long-range (he has a decent aim), close-range with his retracted glaive and knives. He has had a ton of practice scaling walls, being a self-hired mercenary.
Weaknesses: He doesn't prefer to fight mid-range (extended glaive); he's just not that good at it.
Any other information you'd like to add: He's mute, and can be a bit of a loner.

Okay, I've just read through all the character profiles...and I've a habit of having to know almost exactly what's going on and reading all previous posts before I...post...so it might take a while.

Natsu: Like I said, Cabhan means "grassy" or "green". It's an Irish name. Mactire (mock'-tee-ray) is also Irish; it means "wolf". "Cu" is from Cuchulainn (do I even dare go into that pronounciation?), an Irish hero whose name means "Hound of Culainn". That's the name he got after killing a guard dog...long story there. I might nickname one of my character's weapons "Setanta", which was Cuchulainn's childhood name...I probably will name that glaive-like thing "Gae Bolg", which was Cuchulainn's spear...

Ooo a mythology buff i share the same interest. only i mainly look over Norse and Greek mythology.

I know a bit of Norse mythology as well. Lots of that might actually come from various games and such...

Actually, now that I think of it, why is Gae Bolg in Ragnarok Online? Weird.

Was a Greek mythology fanatic a few years back, but I think I've gotten over the worst of that.
