No I'm not that good. I can do pixel art but I can't draw people so I have to use others' bases. I rarely do anything else.

.___. Be a avatar site pixelist? That's usually what you have to do for avatar sites anyways, so you'd be able to find work doing that probably. Not even like permanent work, you can always just do pixel dumps for sites that are just starting or need a pixelist to work on and off for like commons and what not.

I tried applying for a site that needed an artist but they never got back to me. I have a friend who's making one and she said she might get back to me. Another friend is doing the bases so I'm going to surprise her by drawing some stuff on it and hope she'll hire me. I know it's probably not a lot of money but I think it'd be fun.

Depends on the popularity of the site really, cause really popular sites like Gaia and Menewsha do make good enough money to pay their pixelist pretty well.

Plus there is always pet sites who need someone to pixel pets and stuff.

Those sites also have really good people though. I still need practice before I'd be able to do the items and stuff, all I do now is clothes/hair. Also I'm not sure if I can do pets. I used a few refs just to draw the ponies. I've shaded horses and other animals before but never drawn them.

I'd say just continue practicing, ask advice from other pixelist, like Choco pixels pretty nice like and so does Kami, they could probably give you a few tips.

I don't know of very many avatar sites either though. I mean I've been on a lot but most were inactive or I didn't like the avatars.

Oh I know, it's a pain to find Avatar sites lately. But usually there's adverts on art sites looking for pixelists, so it's not to hard to find a newbie site.

Lol the only art site I'm on is deviantart.
