Polina. I liked some of the dancing but the lead actress was pretty bland, which made her journey feel less compelling than it could have been. But, the most distracting part was the handheld camera movements. I absolutely hate the style because my eyes don't really seem to track the scenes well and I wind up not being able to appreciate the scenery. It just becomes disorienting and headache inducing and eye straining. It was especially frustrating when you couldn't really see the dance movements because of how wildly the camera was moving around. Not really sure how others can watch it without issue, because the "technique" is used in everything.

The Limehouse Golem. Very pretty.

Idk if it actually counts as a movie or it is a comedy show tbh, but...

What About Dick?

A friend highly recommended it. I wasn't that impressed. Despite having a great premise and an all-star cast, it was around 95% sexual innuendos and penis jokes and only 5% actually funny jokes.

I watched Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. o-o I never noticed how many deaths Indiana Jones was responsible for and how little care is taken to actually preserving historical sites and artifacts, like in real archeology. x'D

I just finished Booksmart. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be, but I have a feeling it's going to be a classic.

So totally rented "Captain Marvel", and now I need to OWN the Blu-Ray! Loved the whole thing, had to take it back before getting to see the deleted scenes and whatnot.

The Lion King. ;-; Because no 'live action' cgi mess will ever live up to the heartbreak I feel seeing Simba trying to wake up Mufasa and calling for help before realizing his dad is gone...*sob* Q~Q </3

The last movie I watched that I had not seen before is When Marnie Was There and it's up there in my favorite Ghibli films now. ;u;

2020 may be a difficult year, but I know we can all get through it together.
Just believe in yourselves.

20th Century Women. Overall I liked it. It did feel a bit lacking, maybe because it didn't feel like it went in depth enough anywhere. The characters were flawed, but not in an overly obnoxious way.

Megamind. x} Forgot how funny it was.

I Am Mother. I couldn't really get into it. Felt like it tried to keep you guessing, but wasn't particularly clever about it.

Dancing Quietly. Started off well enough. But it wound up being mostly cliché and predictable.
