He was my best friend...... then we started dating.... he went off to college.... then he started dating someone else..... and didn't want to break up with me..... i found out... he broke up with me then came crawling back..... i was an idiot and took him back..... and he kept cheating on me for 6 more months......

College stuff is difficult. It'd be easier to have someone nearby, so they're less likely to be tempted to stray. But like Serra said, not everyone is like that. There are a lot of assholes, and then there are also a lot of sweethearts. Sometimes it's just hard to recognize which is which.

Yea.... i just hope i don't fall for someone like that again.... that was really hard.... and i didn't find out that he had cheated on me again until after he had left for africa to do a two year mission trip for our church..... and i haven't seen him since... and he gets home in november.... and i'm scared to see him again.....

So have you officially broken up with him, or what?
