Well that's what I've gathered from some stories I've read. >3> The anemic main characters take iron pills and eat dried fruit and get blood transfusions every so often...

And I'm glad I'm not anemic. Or else I'd be soooo screwed during my period. XD

lol, not entirely true though. I'm anemic but I don't get regular blood transfusions. I just get tired easily.
