"But yur hair smells funny," Long complained.

Rosen chuckled, "I have to use a fire-repellent shampoo," he explained.

Long started laughing, eyes tearing up a little again.

"Your laugh is cute," Rosen noted, gently wiping away a tear from the corner of Long's eye.

That made Long laugh a little harder.

Rosen started chuckling again, "You're much more fun when you're relaxed," he decided.

"I dun'wan 'ta sleep," Long complained.

Rosen pinched Long's nose, "Then don't sleep, silly," he teased.

"Yur hair ish silly," Long repeated with a chuckle.

Rosen looked a little offended, "Does not," he argued.

Long just chuckled.

"Well your face is silly," Rosen countered.

Long did one of those cute snort-chuckles again. "Yur face is blurry an' you can't 'tink uh'a be'der insult."

Rosen huffed a little, "I seduce people, not insult them," he defended.

Long just laughed again.

Rosen irritation melted away as he watched Long, "When was the last time you laughed?" he asked.
