Blarg...stupid roommate who's lazy about so much stuff was fighting over something to make our lives a bit easier. A magnet for the dishwasher so we could tell right away if stuff was clean or dirty...since our dishwasher is not the best and doesn't clean everything fully. He thinks it's "stupid" because it's "easy to just open and check" when he doesn't do that either ...

I think it is too, I remember using one when I was growing up, though it was seven people in that house so the dishwasher was run a lot. Only three people here but still...I think it would be nice to know if it's been run or not without having to look inside and check several of the dishes, as it doesn't always clean well.
