"I took a reawwy long nap!"

Talking to my almost 90 year old patient, telling her about some baby skunks found on the sidewalk at my school.

Me: "they had to call animal control to come get them."

My Patient: "what do they do with them? Do they destroy them!?"

Me: *after shamlessly laughing hysterically* "God no, they either relocate them or rehabilitate them."

My patient: "oh...thats much better than what i thought happens"

Cold brew coffee sure hit the spot today. =w= <3

Pie. Lots of pie. With homemade cranberry sauce. Num.

They're a little shorter in the leg than I prefer and are maybe just a tad snug in the waist, but for the first time in my adult life, I am wearing size 8 jeans! (Amazing how not having time to eat can eventually lead to weight loss, yeah? XP)

Also, apparently my boss has been putting my name out there and someone wants me to be their graphic artist and redesign their businesses' websites. What.

Whisky is adorable and I love him and I love all the caghts. They're all adorable little dinguses that keep bringing in shrews.

I extracted the brain from my fallen servant and implanted it into a new body in an arcane ritual. After summoning its soul back with the appropriate incantations... it's alive!

In all seriousness: I took the Mac-formatted hard drive from my broken server, put it in my Windows desktop, installed Debian in a virtual machine, attached the VM to the hard drive, and started up the server software from there. I'm back up and running, although this scheme isn't ideal in the long run -- but this will serve (pun intended) until I can get some new hardware. I'm in the market for used computer parts if anyone has any!
