Question, but can you trade an older gen pokemon to Black without having the upgraded pokedex or without using the poketransfer thing?

if your friend has the older gen on their black/2 white/2 games yea. I have charmander/charizard on my blck 2 and it doesn't have a dex entry yet due to me not having the national dex xD

Well, if not then life goes on. I think SS will end up being my main game anyway. I can hatch some more eevees to send over. I don't think Silver has a mossy rock in it.

There's a mossy rock in black, so I should be able to ship an Eevee over, evolve it, then ship it back to Silver since I think Leafeons were in Leaf Green or something? Something earlier than SS at any rate. I have my sister's copy of Leaf Green that she said I could transfer some pokemon to the palpark thing in SS. Never tried it though.

I caught a Golett! After killing several others in the attempt. I wanted a lower level guy (30, got a 33) but the one I was about to catch went and killed itself with confusion. That was kinda annoying.

I think I need a new nickname for my Leipard. "Mercutio" doesn't seem to be working for it. It might not be a good idea to name something after a character that dies. Ophelia doesn't seem to mind though.

I never really name mine. last time i named one . it was a tepig .. i named it P-Chan like from Ranma xD
