Okay. I was talking about a particular author I like who had started a wonderful manga that had a chance to be dark and gory but had to give it up cause it was not as popular as the other he was writing. And he liked the one he had started but needed the money the other brought in.

That sucks. It's too bad that Dark and Gory isn't popular enough among manga readers to sustain him. Q_Q <- likes dark and gory too

I love Atsushi Ōkubo's original work and Alice McGrow's work *_* (wish my fave series and publish one more volume and then the series would end)

Yes, why isn't dark and gory liked? The other one was a bit more childish but originally had started out with an evil synicate who was killing off most of Tokyo to create some kind of zombie virus. Then in somehow warped into this abonation of kids solving petty crimes. Anyone else confused?

Hey, I love dark and gory. Maybe not extremely gory for the sake of being gory, but then again, seinen manga is delicious.

I'm not sure if the kids are zombies or not, I don't think they are. The main kid is actually someone who was supposed to be zombified but something went wrong granting him extreme intelligence or something like that. I'm not sure on exact details.
