"Mello and Naveen are being more awkward then One was the first time he kissed me," Near scoffed.

"...The first time he what?" Mello asked immediately.

"So now that you guys know everything's fine-" Matt urged- nudging Near with his foot.

"Near, let's go." Mello sighed- shaking his head and turning back to the door. "Naveen's probably worried about you too."

"My thanks to Matt and N-" Near stared to say, but was dragged from the room.

As the door slammed behind him, Next turned toward Matt. "It looks like Mello is being more himself..."

"You mean getting irritated and being a jerk?" Matt frowned. "Why is that a good thing?"

"Because Near is autistic and Mello acting unlike Mello is going to bother him," Next informed.

"Oh right, change is bad for him." Matt sighed. "Poor guy."

--Scene Break--

"He's still breathing." Treat told his brother after leaning close to Far's face. "I think he's just asleep now."

"He'll be mostly asleep for a little while," F informed as Zero pet Treat's hair, looking at them. "I'm going to pick you up some food... what would you like?"

"Uhh...nothing sweet." Treat made a face. "Something salty. Like chips or something...please?"

"I meant a meal," F chuckled. "You obviously haven't eaten in a while."

"Mmm..." Treat seemed reluctant. "Can we eat it here?"

"Of course," F informed. "I promised Far that you wouldn't leave him and I intend to keep that promise."

"...You're a good daddy." Treat nodded. "...I want...umm...Chinese?"

"...Daddy?" F repeated in surprise.

"You fail as a Cantonese person, you know," Trick told his brother, frowning. "Wanting Chinese food... And asking a Taiwanese guy to get it for you!"

"I like Chinese food." Treat pouted- crossing his arms. "Salty and greasy are my two favorite food groups."

F chuckled a bit. "I'll get Chinese food for you. Zero, Trick, does that sound okay?"

"That's fine," Trick sighed and Zero gave a nod. F slipped from the room after that and the little boy crossed his arms. "You know... Far is the only guy around here who ISN'T Asian!"

"Wammy's is full of Asians," Zero whispered, smiling a little. "Its because we're smart."

"Yeah...and Far's...well...he's pretty smart, right?" Treat blinked down at his adopted parent's unconscious form. "I mean, he wouldn't be there if he wasn't."
