I have... a lot of negative feelings about marriage. My dad's already been through two divorces. Both of them cheated (the women, not my dad).

Despite all that though, I've recently been putting a lot of thought and consideration into Luce. He's only 17 and plans to go to college, so if we did, it wouldn't be for a while. So this means we both have plenty of time to get 'get our shit together' if we do decide to make that decision. And it is a big decision really.

It's funny, because he was actually upset because he feels like he's making me wait. He says that I'm at just the right age to get married and it's not fair to me. And you know, I really don't care. If I have to wait, he's worth it.

Marriage is VERY sacred to me. Although I have wanted to do it since I was a child.. it doesn't mean i would do it with just anyone. I don't believe in divorce so when i do it.. it will be the only time I do it. No ifs ands or buts about it. It is a once in a life time experience for me.

I have been waiting two years for my boyfriend to ask me to marry him. I will wait a lot longer for him to find the right moment. (Even when I am engaged.. it is probably going to be another two years before it actually happens!)

Well it's a little weird for me. You can get married anywhere, I have... some weird connotations about where I can or can't get married.

By law or by choice?

I understand. It's sometimes harder if it's because of the law.

My sisters actually traveled quite a few states away so that they could get married. I unfortunately could not be there. But I did help plan it.

If I was to have a wedding it would only be an hour or so away from where I already live. (I might have the time wrong..) But not all too far.

It's mostly gender-related issues for me xD

I can marry in more states than most gay couples, but at the same time I don't know all the states I can marry in. It's kinda weird.

Well, I guess you don't have to worry about that until the time comes, right?

I suppose that's true. No use over thinking it so early. xD

I don't care for weddings and don't particularly like them or really want to get married (though, if I do have serious relationships, I would want them to end in a marriage). XD I don't have a dream wedding cake, dress or anything like that. XD And if I ever have weddings, I will prefer them to be small, just me, my groom and our very closest people. That day is for us, not the whole lot of people I don't know and probably will never get to know (since probably by the time I marry, there won't be anyone from my side I could invite).

I'm 22 and involved in an 18/19 month long distance relationship (LDR). Met him on the internet, he's amazing, blahblah. <3 Planning on moving in together in a few years. :3
