Finally I made a decent avatar.

Wow Arikana on your avatar, really vivid! The colors are great!

And Panda you have created something very singular, I love what you did with the wings and the Zephyr's smoke.

:D Thanks! I love these colours, though I wish the green of the Fenrir skirt would better match the redone green shades, but meh. Close enough. :)

Singular to me, Panda, means that you have created something I have never seen before. All of the avatars here are different and striking, but I have never seen anyone use those wings and smoke like you have done. And the moon and the gold, it's just nicely done.

Ari that green...I would never have noticed that it was different if you had not said anything, it is rather subtle. It's just the shading, right?

Ahhh thanks :3 I like my avatar cute and simple. A lot of people tend to use a lot of accessories and a lot of layers, I like to keep mine nice and simple and I hardly use little accessories.

Yeah, the highlights are more accentuated. :) I notice these tiny things now that I help with recolouring and previewing. o3o

Panda I cannot imagine your avi with a bunch of accessories. What makes it are the blocks of color, so yeah, it's really perfect without any extra stuff on it.

Ari I confess that unless told I would never even have noticed. But you all are doing a great job, I like the newer green, looks great.

I think it's the old pixeling style rather than the new gradients that makes it look that way. Did we even redo the green gradients? I just know that Fen's pixeling has improved a lot since the site opened and we have more/better artists than we used to.

Wow Lucid look at your avi, how inspiring! I love the purple, I guess that is violet? Very nice with the shadow hanging over it and the hood etc.

Uh, not too sure. I've never seen the old gradients... >_>

Thanks Uma, yeah it's violet and dust. :3 I really wanted to make an avi with violet and purple dust so here it is. I never really thought I would ever use this hood because I don't like hiding my avatar's eyes, but I think it adds a lot to this avi. There's a first time for everything!

Ari, I believe we only redid about half of the gradients. I'm pretty sure some of the more basic ones like brown, green, basic, red, etcetera were kept the same. When you pixel an item, though, you can tell a huge difference in how your shading affects the look of the gradient on an item.

I like how some people always have color-block avis, some have bits of colors everywhere, and some go by a theme more than a color scheme.

As for me...I always try to put in some personality into my avi's, so the colors might get a bit messed up in the process.

Espy, I always think your avatars could be some kind of character. I have a hard time telling when you're cosplaying and when you're not because I don't recognize most cosplay characters, and I can't tell with your regular avatars because they do feel like they have a backstory. It's cool.

I like your avi Espy, it's strong in the force. ^_^ I mean that you are wearing solid items and each has a function, like the beautiful jacket and the really cool buckled top...overall the impression is one of attractive and clean lines with an energetic effect.

Lucid I love the dust color and for some reason I initially focused on the violet I am not sure why, I guess I was looking at the dark items. I really want to make a dust avatar. Hmmmm.... *ponders*

I hope everyone is doing well. It is a gloomy rainy day here in Northern Maryland, chilly and with a cutting wind too that just bit through my jeans and my coat when I was out earlier. I had my nails done in shellac which is great because it lasts for 2 weeks. I got a very dynamic Hollywood red color. Otherwise, I am in for the day, I have sewing to do and Hindi to study. What are your plans?
