"I'm teasing," Zero chuckled, gently patting Treat on the head, though not long enough to really make the boy cringe. "Far is very smart and very strong."

"He kept carrying us all around...even you and you're WAY bigger than he is!" Treat seemed impressed.

Then he stopped and blinked up at Zero.

"...Do you really remember anything or are you just playing along for us?" He asked.

"I am... slowly remembering," Zero admitted. "I... remember that I told you once that I managed to fool Roger into thinking I was L..."

"Yeah, that was amazing!" Treat burst. "I got Roger to admit to it! But...I don't know, I wish you remembered more. Do you remember how you taught us to follow rules?"

Zero looked away, seeming to concentrate for a moment. "...All I can remember is toilet paper being all over the halls..."

Trick giggled a little, trying to hide it.

"That was us!" Treat cheered. "And the firecrackers in the bathroom stalls...and the sugar in the salt shakers...and the mustaches on all the pictures in the halls!"

"Now you're trying to trick me," Zero laughed. "There are no pictures on the halls in Wammy's!"

"He's back!" Treat cheered happily- throwing up his arms.

Zero laughed a little bit and ruffled both of their hair once more.

Treat laughed.

"...Far will be better soon and then we can all go home." Treat said. "How's your voice? Does it hurt? What about where...where that bad guy hurt you?"

"Next isn't a bad guy," Zero sighed, gently. "It was a mistake. He wouldn't hurt a soul... and I'm alright, I promise."

"I was talking about the other one...the one that made you...not you." Treat shivered.

Zero's smile faltered and he looked down. "K said that he can't hurt us anymore..."

"How does K know?" Treat asked- scooting closer to Zero. "He made you crazy...and that made Far crazy and everyone got hurt."

"Trust me... K knows," Zero said, frowning and looking away.

He wasn't about to explain to the kids that the only reason Beyond was in a coma was because K was chemically inducing it.

"...What is it?" Treat asked- tilting his head. "You always do that when you're sad."
