I totally suggested galaxy skin, but idk if Galla had noticed or if it just was something that there wasn't time to get made. Or it was decided to split up for a later update since it's also gonna be expensive.

I'll earn one in 10 months of posting lol

unlike normal commons which we have a nice uploader tool to automatically color for me (pretty sure most of y'all have seen it in action a time or two), rainbow and galaxy items are lovingly hand-made with patterns we've had made. that is, each time they're applied, they're manually resized, placed into the optimum positioning to get the most out of them, or manipulated to better fit the flow of the avatar, and all of their levels/contrasts/etc are adjusted to look as good as they possibly can. then, the files are manually saved in the same way as monthlies are.

this means that something like the rainbow skins, simple as they might look comparing them to our patterns, still takes around 10 minutes per variation to get just right. that's not a lot of time, not so much that i can't do a couple spontaneously when we have commons updates, but it's too much for me to make every item come in both rainbow and galaxy as a standard. to do that, we would have to make a way to automatically process our rainbow and galaxy patterns to apply them to items, and if we do THAT then they'll lose some of the quality that all my love and care gives them.

i'm happy to do rainbow and galaxy on just about ANY item, but i can't take a suggestion of ALL. there's only so much i can do in a sitting, so to get galaxy or rainbow commons made, the best thing to do is 1. to be specific, and 2. to prioritize the items you want most to ask for.

(also, galaxy skin wasn't made last week because of a crisis my family was going through, nor this week because said crisis stressed me out so much that my bleed was nearly 3 weeks late and now i hurt a lot and am exhausted and can't focus adequately. this is also why the releases have been comparatively small.)

(also also, special IS standard. fleshy is body items only. rainbow and galaxy are the only color sets reserved for special request.)

Ohhhhh. I actually did not know that (and have not actually seen the neat upload tool in action), but that's good to know. Will keep that in mind and not request fancy galaxy stuff very often.

yeah, i don't mind rainbow/galaxy stuff being requested one bit, as long as you're not giving me an entire list of everything you want. just drop a post in my work thread now and then, or remind me of things you've requested previously. i don't ignore things because they're annoying or anything lol, it's usually either a time constraint, i haven't figured out how i want to do it yet, orrrr i forgot lol
