I just decided on a simple outfit from back around when I first met her... Felt more appropriate to me.

*hugs Gall* I'm sorry that I'll never get the chance to meet her. She sounds like a wonderful person.

-hug- Well... Y'know. Whatever, I guess. We've all got things to be sorry over.

*nods* Loss comes to all of us, both of people and of pets.

All of this reminds me of years long passed, standing beside someone I cared for when everything went wrong. It never seems as if there was enough time. And there never will be. There's never time to truly stop, even to mourn.

I went through my worst time in 98. I was emotionally numb and in a stupor for over two months.

I have a hard time picking a single time that was the worst, but death related at least was... somewhere around '04. I have a hard time keeping track. A good half of my life thus far just blends together.

I know that feeling. One day just runs into another.

Well. The sad is finally catching up to me today. Think I'll call it, more or less. Maybe lurk a little while longer.

I went back too a simple black and white, using the old style of hair/face I used a lot when we first met...

I went to her profile and saw that I was in her siggy (I had forgotten through not seeing her siggy for while) and that finally broke me last night... Tears were shed for the first time in more years than i can remember.

but now, the next day, I feel good. Good enough to get on with life as it was before, just with a little sadness hiding in the background.. Apparently i don't have a long mourning period.

Ducky, I'm glad to see you back. Gallagher, *hugs* I hope you don't stay away too long.
