"You could be... Jasmine!" James helped, of course picking the least clothed princess.

Laurel raised an eyebrow.

"Yes it is," Rosen argued, "Just not a Yin Long one."

"With tusks," Pepper continued, still smirking.

"... What about skateboarders?" Fin suggested.

--

Yue cocked her head at James, trying to picture him as Aladdin. After a moment she shook her head.

--

"... I can't picture a nurse wearing that," Long replied.

Frei made a face as if to say, 'lame.'

"Then which princess?"

--

"Well then you don't know many nurses," Rosen sympathized.

--

"Or a vampire?" Pepper suggested, "What's Sheng going as?"

Fin shrugged. He thought it was cool.

"... I don't know," Yue replied. "Maybe something... simplier?"

--

Long frowned, wondering why any nurse would wear that. It barely covered anything.

"How should I know?" Tusk snorted.

Frei sighed a little.

"Like... crayons?" James offered.

--

Rosen chuckled, "Try it on," he stated, holding the outfit towards him.

Pepper chuckled, "We can't get in without costumes, if you want Blaze we have to dress up."

"... Crayons?" Yue replied blandly, wondering where he had gotten that from.

Long took the costumed and held it up. "... This will barely cover my ass," he mumbled.

"They'll let me in," Tusk replied confidently. "I'm scary enough without a costume."

"It's simple," James argued, "Or we could go as cyborgs... that would be lava!"

Rosen didn't say anything but his smirk spoke volumes.

Pepper rolled her eyes, "I'll go as a cop and you'll be my ward, happy?"

Yue blinked. "Cyborgs?" she asked like she didn't know what that was.

It took Long a few more moments, but then he got it with a bright red blush. "You wear it," Long replied, shoving it back at Rosen. And then a moment later he seemed to get what he implied and his blush deepened.

Tusk was quiet for a few moments. "... What does the ward wear?" he asked, trying to find the catch.

"Like, mostly robot people. We would put one lots of tech stuff, it looks lava and not slutty!"

Rosen laughed, "No, you're going to be the nurse," he said simply, "After all, you nursed me back to health," he teased.

"An ankle tractor," Pepper said with a raised eyebrow.

Yue paused, pretty sure James could find a way to make that slutty.

Long turned and walked off with the outfit before all the blood rushed to his head and he fainted.

"One that doesn't work, right?" Tusk asked.

James sighed, "C'mon Yue, what do you want to be? Laurel could probably make you something simple if you want."

Rosen was laughing at him, "You'll see me in booty shorts eventually," he promised loudly.

Pepper shrugged with a smirk.

"I don't know," Yue replied honestly.

--

Long scurried off a little quicker.

--

Tusk stared at Pepper blankly.

"Well if you have no ideas quit shooting down all of mine," James complained, "How about we just go as rock stars?" he muttered.

"We could go as motorcycle racers," Laurel offered, "You'd look hot," she noted.

--

Pepper started chuckling.

Yue shrugged. That was alright.

--

Nic shrugged. Still not caring too much.

--

"I already can't get rid of you," Tusk half-complained.

James sighed a little, "Rockstar it is. Let's go pick out what to wear," he told her as he took her arm and started to lead her off.

Laurel sighed, "... Okay, we're going as Motorcycle racers then," she decided.

--

Pepper's smirk turned instantly to a frown, eyes flashing, "Do you want to Blaze's two years or not?" she snapped at him.

So Yue went with James. At least they had plenty to choose from.

Nic paused before nodding.

--

"She's not going to bring them to the party," Tusk sighed. "And Kaliko isn't going to let me torture her to figure out where they are either since this is a non-violent subplot."
