I used to take the iPod with me while shopping. But I tend not to anymore. Mom used to get mad at me for it because I would listen to it, and not her. >_>

Sigh... Same here. Sort of. She gets mad because she thinks listening to music will hurt my ears, and I supposedly have hearing loss... I still listen to music though, with the lowest volume that's still audible.

Oh, my mom is more upset because she will ask me the same question about five times before I say anything. I can't help it. I just get so swamped by the music, I chose to ignore people. It's that or I start making comments that could potentially be considered overly aggressive.

I'm not that way, but my mom thinks I will become like that if I continue listening to the stuff I like. I'm usually a shy quiet person, but she thinks I have too much attitude, especially if I'm just trying to assert myself.

I've had problems like that. I'm usually quiet and reserved. I don't intentionally lead. I only take the roll when I have to. I've been told I have a natural act for it, I project authority when I need. My manager has told me that they rely on me when no manager is up front to take charge of the situation and to help make decisions.

Though Eve is doing a nice job of belittling me; or trying to is what I should say. I will not let her do it to me. I stand up against her. When she took away my bubble wrap, I went back to doodling all over my goal cards. I began clicking pens to the point one would think I have a nervous disorder. It's interesting. She also does not like the phrase, "awesome sauce." I haven't figured out why, but I will investigate further. I had not even noticed I had said it at the time....

Anyway, ....

I let my hangout die. Now it's gonna be revived I hope.

I'm either thinking too much and not talking enough, or the opposite. Never've been able to walk the middle road there...

Forums sites are usually talk first, regret later (and then quickly edit or laugh it off...something I've only recently learned to do)...but when I speak first before thinking in real life, shit happens.
