What kinds of sushi do you recommend? A couple months ago my friends took me out to try sushi and I didn't like it. I discovered that all of the kinds we tried had crab in them, and apparently I don't like crab xD So maybe I might like other kinds but I don't know. I know I definitely don't need to try anything raw at first xDD And I know that I love shrimp regularly....but I just stare at the menu and don't know what anything is xDD

Ashy, how dare you give people ideas of how to make my sushi-making business harder! XD

Hmm... if you want the non-raw sushi, you might want to try these then:

1. Kappamaki - curumber rolls (only rice and cucumber covered with the seaweed wrapping)
2. Tamago - sweet egg and rice
3. Inarizushi - also known as "footballs", a sweet soybean pouch filled with rice
4. Unagi - (if you're feeling dangerous), cooked eel with sweet sauce - it's one of my favorites.

If you want to try a raw sushi that isn't as "fishy" as the other sushi, you should try tuna or spicy tuna. None of these have crab, so you should be fine.

XD I doubt it's much harder. might be easier. who knows? I'll give it a try. I'm just so used to pulling out normal sushis, doing something different is strange and hard. XD but after doing a shrimp and a robot, I'm up for it.

LOL! Lucid, it should be similar to the other sushi you were doing. Just make the rectangular part black (draw the expression in with white), and top it with a ton of shiny eggs (it would be cute if a couple of the red eggs had fallen off). XD

@Ash: They should make sushi (IRL) that's just rice and cooked shrimp. I would eat that all day long. xD

They do, actually. I forgot about that.

Just ask for the shrimp (ebi) (not the sweet shrimp since that is usually raw).
Warning though, they put a small bit of wasabi on the rice for the shrimp if you're not fond of it.
