How exactly is the world supposed to end in 2012, anyway (for those who actually pay attention to these people...)? I remember seeing a Discovery channel show about the top 10 extinction threats to humanity, and if I remember correctly, the top 3 were nuclear war, engineered pandemics, and sentient computers. The others on the list were mostly cosmic events we would already be able to see coming, I believe.

So, did the Mayans predict that we were going to commit auto-genocide? :p

Also, in searching for a term for "killing of the entire human race", I came across this rather hilarious list of 85 different words ending in -cide. I especially like "Episcopicide" and "Senicide". :p

Bizarrely, those are really in the dictionary. Leave it to humanity...
