Oh gods I had a Phase with a capital P (actually, it wasn't... really just a phase) where as a kid, I'd get super angry whenever anyone called me cute and was like "I'M NOT CUTE, I'M COOL".

Feel you so much on that Espy. My whole childhood life I was offended and embarrassed when called "cute" and "adorable" and "just the sweetest thing!", even though I did nearly everything in my little tomboy power to dress more like my male peers.

Unfortunately, <n< I am cute forever. I have no choice. </3 I got used to it now, and had a phase where I took "cute" as the ultimate and obvious compliment, because I just gave up being who I was to please others. <x} Silly me!
