Sick and lazy for a couple days so no more streak. I have this upgrade though. Can't think about which pokemon it might be for, unless Porygon is still puttering around in game somewhere.

I like my pikachu with a hat. It looks like he keeps his hat when he evolves, so I can get a raichu with a hat! Even better. ;)

Wait...do they keep their hats when they evolve? Because I've been holding onto a pikachu with a party hat for MONTHS because I don't want him to lose the hat.

And since he was the only party pikachu I had caught...I couldn't test.

I got to play Pokemon go again today not sure how long I'll get to this time but it was nice after my long not being able to and first thing I see is a shadow I'm like wth is that (since I know nothing about the hat pika missed the email) and then BOOM IT POPS UP I was Holly Cow a new hat one :0 it took darn near every ball but I CAUGHT IT :D

I missed the Santa one because I didn't have access to PoGo at the time.
Haven't caught the current one because I haven't even seen it yet.

There are 4 levels of difficulty to raids and different sets of raid bosses in each of those levels (the rarer ones are in the higher tiers). There is also a 5th coded but not yet implemented tier which is rumored to be for legendaries when they are finally released.

Upgrade is used solely for Porygon at the moment but there may be more pokemon that will also use it in the future. The other items are; Sunstone for evolving Gloom into Bellossom and Sunkern into Sunflora, Metal Coat for evolving Oni into Steelix and Scyther into Scizor, Kings Rock for evolving Slowpoke into Slowking and Poliwhirl into Politoad and finally Dragon Scale allows you to evolve Seadra into Kingdra.

All the event Pikachu will keep their hats, even when evolved and after the event finishes ^_^ I have a set of both Pikachu and Raichu with each of the special events hats.

I don't know what event is going on. I just know I have a pikachu with a baseball hat.

At the moment it is the anniversary event to celebrate 1 year of the game being released and that cap is the same as the one the main protagonist of the anime series (Ash Ketchum) wore.

I remember seeing Pokemon all the time on TV because it had that coveted lunch hour time slot on the one teen-ish channel.

I recently re-watched it all from the very beginning until episode 4 of Sun and Moon (I couldn't find any English dubbed of episode 4 and beyond) as my 3 year old loves Pokemon XD We watched all of the series and movies on youtube during the daytime but I remember watching it after school when it first came out ^_^;;

I've never actually watched Pokemon. Growing up, we only had 3 channels, ABC, CBS, and NBC.
On rare occasion, I got to stay at my grandma's place and watch Sailor Moon and Digimon on Satursays though.
I feel like, even though I love Pokemon, I've missed out on a lot of it

My favourite Pokemon moment was when I was sitting in the lounge of a little bed and breakfast in Cashel, Ireland and Pokemon happened to be on TV and these two little English kids came in, primary school age, and the little girl crawled up on the settee beside me to watch while the boy looked at me and asked in the cutest, most perfect, musical Hollywood English accent "Are you watching Pokemon?" He turns to the TV and says "I like Pokemon" and I'm sure there's stereotype here but ohmygod is was the cutest thing ever.

Awww... That's a cute story Quiet ^_^ I'm actually English and I was about 8 or 9 when Pokemon first aired here and I was hooked! It was shortly after that that I first saw Cardcaptors and began my love of anime without even realising XD

So I actually got a Pokemon in a gym for a little bit...enough to get me 8 coins. Hatched an Ekans as well.

I finally saw and caught an Ash hat pikachu!
