I've read plenty enough about revolutions of a place called Earth, and all that happens is senseless killing, destroying and robbing truly priceless pieces of art and literature and making a new society that is just as bad as the one before it.

I disagree on that. I'd rather live in today's society than the society of the past. You were old at 30 due to people not living that long. We have advanced and it isn't all bad. Same goes for any society.

Things change with every war. Some things get better...some might get worse. But nothing can happen without change.

It is because we are scientifically more advanced, but except for Medieval times, when science was half-forbidden, we would have advanced anyways. But both Word Wars, the 1905th year revolution in Russia, USA's and England's civil wars ... And in the end poverty, oligarhs still rule.

We have less poverty than in the past (I'm not talking recent past either)

And nothing is going to be perfect either. There are these things called humans. They aren't perfect. Therefore anything they do is going to be imperfect for no one can make things better than they are.
