I speak it fluently and I also speak Kansai's dialect.
Problem is I can't type or read Japanese until I get my laptop back so it may be a while before I can really help. u.u

You could use flash cards and what not..
Games work too....
Also when you get your vocabulary up it helps to set your computer's local to Japan, you'll have no choice but to memorize the words with some programs. That helped me a lot.
I also collect SHOXX and Cure magazines (visual kei magazines) so I learned and memorized some vocabulary from those too.
Main thing is when you learn vocabulary you have to keep using it as much as possible. So chat with as many speakers as you can.

x.x' Yeeeah my vocab sucks cause I never used any of it. It was irritating for finals and such cause we'd learn all this vocab but never use it, and you'd never know what would be on the final so you had to relearn everything.

also, could you use a lil darker blue? ;-; I have a hard time reading that colour.

i have tons of flash cards and flashcard sites.. ijust wish they had a 3ds app for kana flash cards xD

Do you have a community college around? If you can take a Japanese class from there, it'd be a whole shitton cheaper for you. XD
