I'd like to write a mer-themed fanfiction but I have other stories jostling for attention, so I'm not sure if I'll manage to write something for Mermay.

I think I might do a thing once I get back home, where I use a random character generator in combination with random ocean life and draw really weird merfolk.

That sounds like a good plan to me, Espy. :D

One day you're picking a fight with an otter over their numerous crimes and because they stole the kelp from your roof,
the next, you're up and swimmin' around, feeding the same sharks that took a bite out of ya.
