So I recently rewatched Fido. A movie that "takes place" in the 50's after a meteor hits the Earth and thus - zombies. So science has developed a way to control them (haha!) and now they serve people.
Fido, is the zombie recently purchased by the main character family.

It's a dark comedy? I suppose it is.

I also watched The Rainbow and the Serpent. A movie about voodoo zombies - which are not like Romero zombies.

So! What other movies do you have for me?

I'm not quite sure what qualifies as a typical zombie movie but Dead Snow is still one of my all time favorites. Requires some subtitle reading but it's one of my all time favorites. It's on netflix. This is the description it gave me; " A group of Norwegian friends get the scariest history lesson of their lives during a weekend getaway to the snowy town of Øksfjord, where the party is interrupted by throngs of Nazi zombies who once occupied the area. Armed with a machine-gun-equipped snowmobile, the gang fights for survival in director Tommy Wirkola's quirky horror, shot on location in the mountains of Norway. "

Is it on Netflix! I will watch it ASAP! Sounds great! <3

I found Zombieland more hilarious than frightening, so I will count that one as not your tyical zombie flick. I haven't seen very many zombie movies but this would be a good thread to find more. I saw that Fido was on Netflix. Maybe I will watch it if it's still available.

Shawn of the dead is more of a comedy than anything but it is a great movie about zombies. Its really funny :)
