LoL, I thought so ^^

ill be the first to admit that im a VII fan boy but at least the older game had a good story and great characters i just cant get into 13 i mean its flashy and looks amazing but it does not have the appeal nor does it draw me in like VII or VII did

I never played Final Fantasy XIII, but it probably would have helped if it had used a different type of game play.

I didn't buy FF13 until it was already out for a couple of months because I absolutely disliked FF12 so I was afraid of another disappointment. I know a lot of people don't like FF13 but I really liked it. I'm still kind of iffy on getting FF13-2... mainly because I don't really like Serah or what I've seen of Noel. I HATED Hope in the first game but now he looks like he's okay. xD; I may wait for it to be out for a while and if Fang ends up being in it I'll give it a go. >o> I do love Lightning as well but it doesn't look like we'll get to play as her?

It looks like it's going to be a good game... it's just that if I don't like the characters that I'm playing as, I'll lose interest. xD;

I personally loved FF13. Probably one of my absolute favorites. (FF10 is still my #1 favorite though) I loved pretty much all of the characters, except Snow and Sazh =/ I really don't normally like men characters ^^; UNLESS THEY'RE BISHIE. But I did like all the ladies. Especially Fang and Vanille. (coughaussielesbianscough)

I hope (heh, Hope) that FF13-2 will be better than FF10-2. ...... That game was a joke. And I hope my favorite characters will be playable! D8

I preordered FF 13 but now I'm struggling to throw money together for FF 13-2 >.<
It got 10/10 at Famitsu which just comes to show the game will be better then it's precessor.

After this game all I have to look forward to in gaming is kingdom hearts dream drop distance and 13 versus.

@Ultima: I agree: X-2 was lame. At least gameplay wise. I decided to watch the cutscenes on youtube and to wiki it.

I liked snow though. A complete idiot...but great eye candy. *w*

I loved that game! It was a little heavy on the girl power :p and it was definitely a lot lighter on the story, but I wouldn't say it was a bad game at all. It played very intuitively~ I only never finished it because my PS2 died prematurely :(

You know that some of the games were based on "oh look how cute this game is" instead of how good the game quality should be...

Still I cant wait for it to come out next month...

It's also been confirmed that there is going to be a 13-3 now :/ because in the final ending it says "To be continued..."
Now I have 3 games to look forward to, KH3D, versus 13, and 13-3.

I'm going to preorder it next friday probably...if the local gamestop will let me pay full price right then.

Well considering that it scored a 10/10 from Kotaku magazine I doubt it sucks. The only thing that I know that sucks is the True ending which makes me hope for 13-3 to come out. (If your impatient like me look up the true ending.)

I've watched people play the Japanese version and it looks very fun. I want to play slots, and go Chocobo racing <3
