Yea you use the ki, shi, ni, mi, hi and add the ya yu yo parts to them owo

hmmmm interesting. At first I thought it made more sense my way, but now that I think about it, when I write my name, I have to use ji/ya se ri n. I guess part of me thought it was just because sa turns into za, not ja, but when you pronounce them all they do have a slight i sound to them.

Japanese!!! this brings back memories, i started teaching myself in 8th grade or so, but stopped in a year or 2...i learned all the hiragana and a few katakana pretty quickly, but since i didnt have a good teacher didnt get very far..

owo I am using Japanese Pod 101 lessons xD they are very helpful..

i actually dont have time to learn japanese anymore :( im majoring in chinese :P good luck though!!! it is a fun language to learn..
