to be honest, that is the best way unless you have access to magazines or wrappers or various other japanese paraphernalia.

I will ouo thank you

I'll go put the link on the front page for others who might want to read them ^-^

I like how there is no Romaji.. Kantan Kana Lessons Chihiro-sensei said that now that I finished the Hiragana to stop reading Romaji xD

Kinda hard to do cause alot of stuff is in romaji ono

Question! *Raises hand*

Something I noticed in anime, what does the term "ah" or "aa" refer too? (Not sure how to spell it properly). It appears to be some form of "yes." Specifically, what's the difference between that and "hai"? Is it one of those casual/formal things, like the difference between "yes" and "yeah"?

Kantan Kana?
What's that?

and romaji helps.
but it is a hindrance to reading.

@quiet:
this is difficult because it can be taken as "yes" or "oh". it's casual and is more used as an "oh" rather than a "yes". I personally haven't heard it used as a "yes" in any places other than anime. But that's not to say it isn't. I'm not fluent but the more common ways are "hai", "un", and "ee".

ah i see. ^^

well i dont know if they teach them both at once.
i decided to ignore japanesepod101 cause it cost money.
the only one i stick with is smart.fm which costs $10/mo.
they helped me so much before.

I got the premium thing for free for a month I downloaded everything they had xD

they have lessons that teach each row.

like for hiragana: lesson 1 was (a, i, u, e, )

lesson 2 is ka ki ku ke ko

then after they show the tenten and maru lesson. they did a review and tell you to try to read real signs written in Hiragana then they move on to Katakana and start those lessons
