Edit: it's not a goflex. It's a normal seagate that you need to plug into the AC for power source. But at that price, Who can complain? A 500 gb plug in now costs over 100.

I'm getting a 500GB portable external for about 95$ + S&H from amazon... I wish they had a 2TB for 90$ D: I need it to be the non AC type cause its for my japanese downloaded lessons and stuff xp

Mine is the AC one, but I really can't complain. I'm using more for in case my computer fails, it is 3 years old, I've had it since june of 2008. So it is getting up there in years. But it was back in August or so, Staples had it on sale, it's a 2.0 USB, with 3.0 capability, 2TB. And I could have it automatically save and continuously do but honestly, I'm not gonna keep it plugged into my laptop all the time and I don't really feel like putting more software in my laptop right now, maybe later on i will but right now I more want to get it all saved before I try to download more software.

I got mine in october of that year o.o it was my "grats on getting your ged" thing.. it was early though cause i took my test in november and got my 'deploma' thing on the 28th of Nov. 08 xD

I haven't done any updating like that to it. I can't afford it.
