*raises hand* I did the gold avi contest...kinda. It was Cazzidy's contest on her hangout thread. She needs at least one more to start judging.

I hope she doesn't mind that I didn't use just gold in mine. I tried, but it was just too monotone.

I have a lot of trouble with monotone avis, especially in a color we only have one shade of. something like blues or greens would be easier, but we only have one shade of gold, unless yellow/blonde counts.

Because they look like yellow instead of gold? >.>;;
Still, I find yellow a hard color to work with. I usually use it for accents, not for large pieces of avatar.
