James only squeezed her hand tighter, smiling back at her, "Nope."

Kale wandered around the large hovercraft. It was a rare sight, him being out in the afternoon. He looked rather ridiculous in his large sunglasses which covered his eyes from every angle. Even with them he avoided windows as much as possible. He was clearly looking for something or someone.

Yue cussed a little at him. "What's your problem?!"

Blaze was going through her typical routine like on any other day. She was currently doing some yoga at the gym.

James whistled to himself as they reached the top of the hill and looked out at the lake. Indeed, it was beautiful. James had found a gem. But he wasn't looking at the lake, he was looking at Yue.

Kale eventually found Blaze and slipped inside, sitting against the wall and watching her stretch.

Yue's eyes looked out over the lake, but she wasn't seeing it completely. How could she with an attitude like hers?

Blaze didn't notice Kale enter. She seemed fairly focused on what she was doing, and she was wearing headphones to block out the surrounding noise. She certainly wasn't a beginner. She made many difficult moves look effortless.

"Hey!" James suddenly declared, "Wait right here!" and took off at a jog back towards the Jet.

Kale seemed to content to watch. He didn't want to disturb her routine. Well, at least he meant to watch. It wasn't long until he fell asleep.

Yue seemed content enough waiting. After a moment she sat down facing toward the lake.

After some time had passed, Blaze finished and quietly gathered her things before leaving, still not noticing Kale's presence.

James came back with... yes, a basket. He set it on the grass between them and smirked at Yue.

--

At dusk Kale was out looking for Blaze again.

Yue didn't notice the basket at first. But after a moment or two she turned and then stared at it with a "you've gotta be kidding me" expression on her face.

Blaze was still following her usual schedule. She spent some time in her room before leaving to get dinner.

James continued to smirk, "Open it." he stated.

Kale caught Blaze on her way to dinner, "You know, for someone who claims to be superwoman... you're really bad at sensing people." he said from behind her with a bit of tease in his voice.

Yue stared at James sceptically as if she expected to find something completely unexpected in the deceptively innocent looking basket.

"... Huh?" Blaze asked, confused. She didn't seem startled by Kale's voice.
Default #283
James motioned for her to open it.

"You do yoga very well." Kale replied, stepping along beside her.

Yue stared skeptically for another long moment before slowly and cautiously opening the basket.

"... Huh?" Blazed asked again, still completely clueless.

It was filled with alcohol. All the different kinds that Yue especially enjoyed. James was chuckling now, "Since it's the only thing that gets you to relax. You alcoholic." he teased.

Kale sighed a little, "I don't like that you've been sneaking around me lately." he finally just outright said.
Default #286
Yue looked a little surprised. After a moment she quietly picked one out.

Blaze blinked, taking a moment for her mind to catch up with the conversation. "... You've been out searching," she replied. Maybe she was unaware of her actions. Or didn't recognize them.
Default #287
James chuckled and looked back over the lake, "Are you waiting for a call?" he asked after a moment.

Kale sighed again, "Look, you don't need to act like you're stepping on glass around me, alright?" he paused, "I've thought more about that question you asked me. And my answer is still the same. But I would like to add one more thing." he stared at Blaze, "If I had a relationship with someone who was dying, I would spend as much time as I could with them to make up for the time that would be lost by their illness. I suppose that's the only thing that would be different from a regular relationship. In some ways, I think it would even be better. You wouldn't take the other person for granted all the time." he blinked, "Ah, I'm rambling." and shook his head a little, mumbling something about lack of sleep.

"... No," Yue replied before taking a sip.

Blaze didn't say anything for a long moment. She had the same look on her face as when her mind was still catching up. "... Huh," she finally replied, not looking like she wanted to talk about it anymore.
