I used to work until 10:30. Sucked, since most other people in the house were off to bed around that time. I'd have to socialize in the morning beforehand, and run any errands and such.

Still, better than starting early and then arriving home in time to interrupt dinner, help with dishes, socialize with the family, then have to go to bed again because of getting up early.

Add trouble sleeping to that too. Fun. -.-

I think a surprising number of users here are insomniac to some degree. I'm just this side of nocturnal lately. Can't seem to sleep at night, so I sleep all day. That's not all that helpful when it comes to life though.

I've started waking up earlier to go on walks and meditate with Semi:. So I've been trying to force myself to go to bed earlier as well. So far, it's kept me from the occasional impulse to stay up until 3 in the morning playing League of Legends, but other than that I haven't been going to bed much earlier than before. :C

I don't play LoL. ...Should I?

I try, (going to sleep earlier that is) and fail horribly. Started taking some seditives on occasion now to get my brain to let go for a bit.

I think my dad has really bad insomnia, but he's too proud to get it checked out.

(He's also too proud to lemme get a diag for possible ADD.)

I've always been nocturnal (and I mean always- back to my infancy), but it's gotten so much worse since I stopped working in 2002 (that's when the Fibromyalgia and Sjögren's manifested). Now I sleep all day (not very well, but *shrug* I'm happy to get what sleep I can.

I love my in-laws to pieces, but they rag on me constantly for being nocturnal. "It isn't natural", they say. Really? Then why am I not the only one? "IT says in the Bible that we are to sleep at night and be up during the day" (Dad-in-law quotes the scripture). *le sigh* Sorry, but this is a physical thing for me, not a lifestyle choice.

Luckily, my husband-creature has been working graveyard shift for the past few months, so he and I are almost on the same sleep schedule now. The 'rents don't bug me about so much any more (thank God!).

But, yeah, that's why I'm always on Tris so late at night >.<

I would be nocturnal, but the classes I need for my degree are available only during daylight hours.
