I think you mean true conspiracy. A lot of conspiracies like that are often presented as truth. Unless you read it on a legitimate pokemon site, I think it's just conspiracy/rumor =/

"venonat->butterfree, caterpie->metapod->venomoth" and "gengar is clefairy's shadow" ... I don't think any of these are legitimately supposed to be true. Just conspiracies/rumors fans made.

Heh, I found a whole list of them somewhere explaining each one. It was interesting, but I doubt any are actually true.

I think I figured out the Mew-Ditto thing. Mew is actually ice cream that melted into Ditto. My brain is happy now. :3

I don't buy any of it. They're neat ideas, yeah, but... No. Yeah, no. It doesn't make sense, not if you know where Magikarp->Gyarados theme comes from in the first place. It's based on what, more of a color similarity? ... I don't buy it. Def not tru fax.

It's something along the lines of if a carp is able to swim up the river and over a waterfall on a legendary mountain, they'll be transformed into a dragon... It's a Chinese myth, so of course it would look like a Chinese dragon like gyarados is. It's called Dragon's Gate, I believe. And for that matter, dratini and dragonair are, I think, some sort of imoogi, so their evolution makes sense as well, when you know the myth.

That's so cool. I had no idea. I have a new found respect for Magikarp. ; w;
