Can just boil the water. Even with salt, desalinization is easy enough to do to make salt water safe to drink. Just time consuming (Fire, something to contain the evaporated water, let it condense again, all that noise).

And if Na'lsa did eat something along the lines of Kas, I'm sure he'd spend days locked in a mental struggle about fulfilling his base desires and eating everyone or continuing on his path to something more. Like taking a bite out of Dante and then healing him and preaching about their higher calling, then eating his throat out and weaving it back together before he can die. Stuff like that. Maybe slightly toned down as to not derail the plot train of course.

We are in the APC, Funk levitated Shealtiel there so the post is a continuation but a little behind as far as events.

Random factoid: In Enoch, the grand destiny of the Nephilim is to die in war with each other. God is so enraged at Semyaza and his angels that, rather than just *killing* their children, he's going to make their children kill each other and make them watch. :O

Also: the Book of Enoch is a fascinating little thing, for anyone who's interested in where I took some of the ideas for this setting.
