I need to find work. I do not have a job currently.

Faux, if you're on Medicare, you can get your eye exam for next to nothing. I had to get new glasses last Summer, or Fall...ugh, I honestly can't remember - but I do remember that the total bill was over $300, of whichMedicare paid all but $50. I have to have the full work-up done because of both 1. Having Sjögren's; and 2. Some of my meds can cause retinal detachment. I initially refused anything beyond a vision check- until the doc's assistant told me that Medicare would pick up the majority of the bill. *woohoo!* But, it wouldn't pay for my glasses. I took my prescription to Costco and got 2 pair of polycarb lenses with anti-reflective on designer frames (I've NEVER had designer frames!) for about $125 O_o

I wish I could still wear contacts. I wore them from age 14 till age 33... then my eyes were just too damned dry to wear them anymore *pout* I would sleep in them and everything. Heck, I'd even swim with them in!! I hate the fact that I have to wear glasses to see anything further than 12 inches away clearly :/ Eric yells at me all the time for walking around the house without my glasses on. *blech*

Also, Miss Faux- your hair is so cute... the snail looks like a stem, so your orange hair looks like a pumpkin kekeke!

Angel- I don't know anyone who can get through that puff of air in the eye test without some sort of reaction. I instinctively jump back. Luckily, the puffer is faster than I am LOL

I haven't been to the so-called Elderly thread. To me, 21 is still "a kid" (since I'm technically old enough to have a 21 year old kid... some of my high school friends DO have kids in their late teens/early 20's *yikes!!*

Holy cats! I just found a new character on my phone "★"! I've only had the silly thing for a year and a half >.< LOL

Kiddiss! It's so hard to comment after you and resond to everything you say. :-) one. I want a star character on my phone! I'm on my phone now and it keeps putting a period where I don't want one.
I really do love these snails. A great addition.
On a great note, I finally got my boyfriend to watch this anime I thought he would like... he totally loved it. :-P

Hmmm? I haven't heard back yet, but the tech that did the test said everything looked good, so I'm not worried. The heart doctor just wanted to make sure I don't have an abdominal aneurysm.
