Raven went over to Bee before Dani slowly turned to face Laurel. "... I don't know," she told Laurel quietly.
Default #1218
Laurel was silent for a long moment, eyes slowly hardening into pure rage. "You... don't know?!" she demanded in a cold voice. "WHAT THE TERRA DOES THAT MEAN?!" Laurel suddenly screamed, voice echoing down the tunnels as her glinting eyes remained fixed upon Dani.

Dani remained surprisingly calm. "We're trying to put the pieces together," she explained. "If you let me, I'll tell you what I know."

Laurel's eyes were flashing now as she glared fiercely at Dan. Her body had gone ridged but she gave Dan a sharp nod.

So Dan explained as quickly and clearly as she could the events that drove them down into the passage from her point of view.

Before Dan had even finished, Laurel was sprinting back down the passageway. She'd get on the Juttle and find her father. She had to.

"Raven!" Dan called.

"Call Wolfe," Raven instructed as he ran off after Laurel.

So after a few moments, Dan tried calling Wolfe.

Laurel had reached the doorway and was trying to open it back up.

It was a long moment before there was a click and a face appeared. It wasn't Wolfe, however, but Pepper who glared through the screen. "What?" she snapped.
Default #1225
Raven did what was necessary to keep Laurel from going any further.

"I need to speak with Wolfe," Dan insisted, tone very serious.

Pepper frowned, "He's busy." she replied, "What do you want?" She blinked as she heard Laurel's outraged screams in the background and paused. "I'll see if I can find him." she decided, "Hold on." and her face left.

Meanwhile, Laurel was calling Raven every name in the book and then some. The vocabulary she had was rather astounding. But her hatred of Raven at the moment was very clear, the outright blame evident. When he wouldn't let her continued she started to strike out violently, using all her strength as a dancer to try and break away from him.

Laurel was strong, but Raven was stronger. He took Laurel's beating, but he knew he couldn't last forever. "DAN!" he shouted above Laurel's screams. He could only hope Wolfe could calm Laurel down before Laurel knocked him out or he had to knock her out.

"HURRY!" Dan shouted at the screen as she rushed to catch up with them.

Wolfe eventually showed up on the screen, face confused as he tried to take in what was happening.

Laurel showed no signs of wearing down.

"A juttle landed and took Laurel's father," Dan told Wolfe, not bothering to explain the details. "She's trying to go after it."
Default #1230
Wolfe blinked, he paused, listening to Laurel's screams for a long moment before he looked right as Dan. "Turn the volume up as loud as it can and get me as close to her as you dare." He stated calmly.

Then he closed his eyes and slowly began to sing. It wasn't in a language that either Dan or Raven knew but Raven would recognize that quite a few of the curses thrown at him were in that language. Wolfe's voice was soft and clear and the opposite of what one would expect to come from his mouth. He sang for a few minutes before Laurel started to slow. Slowly the music took hold as she turned slightly and stared at the screen. Then, softly, sobs started deep in her chest and rose higher. They rose and rose until she was sobbing so hard that she was nearly hyperventilating. The utter devastation of a broken heart flowed out of her as she sank towards the ground. Only then did Wolfe stop singing.

Dan did as she was instructed.

As Laurel fell to the ground, Raven tried to catch her. But it ended up more of Raven falling and Laurel landing on him. It looked like Raven had hit his limit too as he breathed heavily.

Dan slowly sank to her knees, a few tears rolling down her face now too.

As Laurel fell on top of Raven she started to cling to him amidst her sobs. Her hands gripped his shirt until her knuckles were a few shades whiter.

After a moment Wolfe's voice came from the screen, "Dan?"
