Oh god, I could see that being a very busy place. I would not be able to last at a place like that. o.o

It was fun! At the time I was there I had the third fastest register, which is to say I was the third fastest at the register. And I was only there on weekends. :)

I would not mind my job, if they stopped always shoving me on training on line. I mean come on, I would like to get some time training on register sometime in my life. Oh well. I'll see where they shove me when I get there and as time goes on.

Since we're not open yet, we're going all over the place during our shifts.

Well, at Cosmic's you really had to request to be on register. If you aren't very vocal about it - you aren't getting put there.

Yeah, where I work, we have to train on everything. They decide where you go each day I guess.
Default #711
We actually didn't train on everything, but I really didn't want to work in the kitchen and smell like fry grease every night - so I had to bug them. - For months!

Good thing you got what you wanted.
With us, we don't use grease, so I don't smell like it when I come home. I just smell like tacos. :/

We used a lot of frying oil - which was just greasy to me. lol.

I used to love working the Salad side, because it was cooler. As in lower temperature and chicken side cause it smelled AWESOME!

I hate places that fry a lot. -.- Not a big fan of lots of fried food.
I don't mind doing the cold side of line, at least I'm not having to touch the grill all the time.

*hugs* Serena, thank you for being so understanding.

Heheh, I got my degree in Library Science, but I never really used it. My major job was transcribing police reports. I did that for 20 years before retiring from the city.

Yeah, I always thought that too. The problem was because of my degree I was put into a position I was really not mature enough for. I blew it big time, I still had a lot of growing up to do then.

I really would love a great job. I want to go work in Japan now.

I wouldn't mind visiting Japan, but I don't think I'd like to live there. Space is at such a premium.

I'm hoping to get my Master's in Library Science, but my specialisation will me reference studies. So in the end I'll probably be a research/reference librarian if I ever work in a library. I know realistically I'll be working at something else for awhile. At least till I have a family/the boyfriend has his schooling done.
