Contest Announcement!

Okay, this is rare, because usually I'll let the owner of the CoS choose the song, but there are a couple of boys here that really, really want to be drawn, and have no owner!

So how am I going to decide who they go to? A contest!

There's also a background story to this contest:
I was batting around playlists of music with some friends, when someone put on a beastie boys tune, and I commented that it would be great music if they'd sing in English [meaning in non-slang] - so someone challenged me to do better.

Challenge Accepted!

I 'translated' the lyrics into 'proper' English, and laughs were had by all.
Your job? Give me the songs that I'm 'translating' the lyrics from to earn points. Each point acts as a raffle ticket - which goes toward a drawing during the month of June.

This contest will continue until JUNE 5th, with my posting between three and six new 'translations' a day. First to get the name of the song, the artist, and what the lyrics I've translated really say is the one that gets the point / ticket.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OWN A COS TO PARTICIPATE. But if you do, other prizes are on the line, such as the first Breeding in the shop, a chance to roll over your CoS to the next level, and so on.

The boys that refuse to get out of my head come from varying songs, and will be posted as I finish them. If you take a liking to any of them, feel free to enter! But remember there are other prizes too! And a nice chunk of change and some runes [between 10 to 20] for referrals, at 1 point per referral [for people that actually participate] We need more people here and talking!

ANNOUNCEMENT 2!

I will be revamping the first page entirely with some new information, new questions, and the entire backstory to these guys. Also, I will be creating a 'free forum' for RP if I get enough interest in it - and the link to that, if it happens, will be in the first post as well. The Gallery and Pickup posts will be cleaned up as well [since apparently I can't stick to a size to save my life], and the entire 'Shop Front' will be, hopefully, neater and easier to understand by the time I'm done.

Rinni won Song #1 today, so that's one's taken. 2 and 3 [and later, 4 and 5] are still up for grabs!

Also - lots of changes. Owner's list made, pickups simplified, backstory typed out, and *GASP* an actual shop NPC! Ai is mine, however, and should be treated as such, although he's not on the owner's list.

Ah! Music Box by Thrice. One of my most FAVORITE songs! I play it almost everyday on the way to work lol! I'll have to come back here and order one based on another Thrice song that I love when I have more time!

Ai rummaged around the CoS basecamp, thinking to himself just how very lonely it was not to have anyone to talk to. Not as lonely as being abandoned, but still... He found a sheet of paper [his size, thankfully], and started writing down some lyrics to a song he'd been working on. Just because he was on his second life didn't mean he couldn't still write songs for himself.

"Let's see... When the rain comes down in spades, I hope you know my name - I'm the one that left you there, inside the jaded cage... Yeah, that sounds about right..."
