I just was commenting to remind Fen - an undertaking as large and wonderful as this... it's hard to take on by yourself and FenFen mentioned in her post that she was doing things by herself. (I think Fen is a girl and if not I'm sorry.)

I agree and disagree at the same time. Well it would be nice to have more members on this site, everyone is closely bonded right now, and the community is nice, and I feel having a lot more people on the site could mess that up. Though more people are needed for keeping up site funding and donations, so...

Well, I do share this site with others, but the only time it's active enough to convince them to join is during an event.

Then, once it's over, they kind of disappear. Like I will soon enough because the other way I use avatar sites (roleplaying), I don't have it here.

I just wanted to point this out.
After a good two and half weeks since I started this thread. We gain 200 more new members. Not only that, old members have been logging on a bit more. I've been seeing people I haven't seen months, or even a year.
I don't know what everyone else is doing, but this is an amazing fleet! I can't wait to see those numbers grow! Soon a event will come out, lets just see how many people will be online at once then ;D

I mean, there are a lot of new members, but soon enough they lose interest and soon disappear...only a few are loyal enough to stay and have fun...

Hrm, I will help out as I can. ^^ I love this site and you have some good ideas.

But it's not like the people who already friends are just going to be not friends just because there's more people on the site, and if they do, well, they obviously weren't that close of a friend. With more people on the site, you can retain your groups, but you also have other people to interact with. One of the reasons why I don't post very much (except to criticize things, lol) is that the site is stagnant. I mostly RP on avatar sites, but I'm not inclined to RP here because none of the styles mesh well and there's no new people in who might. So I just stopped logging on.

I've been trying to bring people in....but it's hard. Most of them just kind of brush me off. But, I'll keep trying. Been trying to draw in some of my roleplay friends from other sites to bring in more RPers.
