Eh some girl who was on drive thru window decided to bitch me out for not getting all her drinks ready. I kind of told her that if I don't get all of the drinks, she is to make sure of it and get them herself if I don't get them all. I had some, and she bitched at me for not getting the other one for her when I had already moved onto a different order I was taking on headset. I snapped at her and told her I was taking an order. She didn't speak loud enough for me to hear her when she asked about a drink from a previous order. She claimed "Oh I have to check the orders"
I should have bitched her out and told her that part was also to make sure the drinks were there and if I didn't get them and I was busy, get it yourself... That's why there are 2 stands of cups on either side of the drink machine.

I've done drive thru window before. I can juggle (it is possible) checking the orders on the line, making sure all the drinks are there, and to get the rest of the drinks made if the headset didn't get it.

One thing that irked me is she was waiting for me to finish putting in an order, there were drinks I had put in the order. She just stood there. She didn't peek over and see what the drinks were. the freaking princess just stood there. -.- I even told her that if she's not doing anything, check to see if I need drinks and I haven't started them, get them yourself. -.-

There's something called teamwork and communicating loud enough to each other. I did it quite well with this other girl who was headset on Sunday while I was window. I checked and made sure all the drinks were there when I had the receipt and I would check both the line and the girl on headset and get the drinks ready if she was busy with taking an order and didn't start the drinks yet. We do the same thing for each other when we're both on front cash.

Serena, I hope karma bites her in the ass.

I have no issue getting the drinks on headset if I have the ability to. I usually get most of them done. I might miss one. Which the window person will have to get themselves when they check the receipt. Her bitching to me how she had to check the orders, I felt no sympathy because I've done window before. I was able to do it and get drinks if the headset person didn't finish them, so she had no sympathy coming from me, which is why I kind of meanly said to her that she has to get it if I didn't because my screen clears when I start the next order. It's her job to make sure the order is right in the bag as it is on the receipt and if there's a drink that I (or anyone else on headset) didn't make already, window gets it themselves.
I'm pretty good at multi-tasking. ^^"

Anyway, not bitching about work now :) I have time before I have work in the morning. mmm relaxy. :)

I know Serena is kinda new. But didn't the place just open Serena?

Yeah, the place just opened a couple Mondays ago (the 16th) I'm part of the first group that started on the 29th of March, this girl started after me shortly before the opening. She usually is with the front cash people making their drinks when we would have a rush. I might be right in guessing it was her first time on the window maybe. I haven't seen her do it till this afternoon when I got in.
Either way, I felt no sympathy towards her because it was my first time on window on Sunday and yet I was still multi tasking getting drinks and doing other things. If you're nice to the person waiting in the car and let them know what you're doing and smile and are polite, 8 times out of 10, they will be understanding and wouldn't mind waiting and extra 10-30 seconds while the last drink or 2 are getting filled or grabbed from the coolers.


Edit: I felt a little bit only because it may have been her first day on the window. But, other than that, not much else. But, this is coming from me who was mainly trained by the people from the established stores in Buffalo who have been doing it for years. So yeah ^^"

Serena - you are right, it's not ANYONE really has had a lot of experience and she has no right to be short with anyone really.
