Also: It's official, all the other managers seem to think that I should be in CPD (copy center). But apparently we don't have enough cashiers or some bullshit like that.

Not enough cashiers my fuckin' ass. We have... like, five? Six? Including me. And everyone is fully capable of running a register at that. So not enough people... -_-' Psht.

Can't you work two places at once? Ya know, thats not entirely unheard of. If they need you at the registers, they can just call you. =/

=/ We have two people up front usually. Cashier and CPD. And no, we almost never cross over unless we only have one person up front. And we only ever have one person up front at night and when it's EXTREMELY dead.

But no, wee typically can't do both because we need someone at the door. At all times. Unless the door person is ringing. And even then, if they'll be at the register for more than a couple minutes, we have to call someone up to watch the door.

Argh! Thats such bullshit!

There has to be a way you can transfer into the area you want to be in? I mean, surely you can petition it..

Not at the store I'm at. And I won't transfer because I don't intend on being in office depot much longer. Or rather, I am leaving for Japan in about two months hopefully. And when I get back I am immediately going to start looking for a new job.
