I used to be a christian...but see...I started to hate religion because of what I have seen. I also hate that I have no freedom to think for myself but just be under some kind of rule or some shiz.
I'm old enough, but they still treat me like a kid about these things. I mean, I have my own brain, I don't need them to tell me what to believe in.

-clap clap- Lots of people are afraid to take that step and admit they've lost their faith. As for the age thing, I think when you stop believing in Santa Claus etc is when you should be allowed to decide for yourself what to believe in =/

I believe in Jesus, just as much as I believe in Buddha. Wise men in their time. I revere to them as philosophers, not gods. I didn't lose my faith or whatever. I didn't lose anything.
And here's the thing, no church for about a month now and why am I even still alive? If there's a god and he hates "his children" that don't go to church anymore would be punished.
The only punishment I get is from the scolding from my parents =_=
You know what I honestly think? It's the "people" under such religion putting meaning on it and thus causing other people the guilt and forcing them to go to church.
Just, ugh.

That's how I feel about religion and deeply force-it-down-your-throat religious people. "Just, ugh." >> BUT ANYWAY. You can believe whatever you want to believe. I'm not going to force you to abandon all your beliefs, and your parents/whoever else should NOT be allowed to force anything onto you either. Some people make up religions. That's fine too. No one should tell you what to believe in.

I know right...but Ulti >A< it's hard when my parents are hardcore christians and I'm the Pastor's daughter ;^; oh the bad luck.

I thought that one before. My local priest told me that it meant I was ready to live out my faith independently. Most of the preaching aspect is like what Disney does to music. They dumb it down to fit a wider audience...then again if this is in more or less private conversation then it's understandable.
