It was rather difficult to do. He kept stirring as Laurel inched her way closer, threatening to wake.

So Raven continued to give her attention.

Laurel took it as slowly and as long as she needed to. Eventually, she was beside him and asleep almost instantly.

Suddenly from the special room onboard the Juttle came a scream. Though for the first time... it was a recognizable person's scream. It was Blaze's.

Blaze started a bit, blinking in the direction of the scream bewildered.

It got louder and louder until it suddenly stopped. Then Blaze's voice started to laugh... rather hysterically.

Blaze slowly raised an eyebrow.

After a little while, there was silence. Then it started up again but this time it was talking... babbling nonsense... and it was Yue's voice. The voice sounded like it was in pain.

Kale was stirring a little.

Blaze stayed where she was, not sure what to do about the voices she was hearing. Or if she should do anything at all.

There had been no sign of Yue since the Juttle had taken off.

Kale eventually forced his eyes open. The doctors had been trying to ween him off the sleeping medications. His eyes drifted around until he saw Blaze then he seemed to relax. Perhaps her scream had caused a nightmare.

Blaze watched Kale, giving up on reading while the voices were distracting her. She didn't say anything.

Kale took in a sharp breath and then started to try and sit up.

Surprisingly, Blaze didn't try to stop him.

Kale didn't make it very far before slowly lowering himself back down. His face showed some pain but mostly frustration.

Blaze still didn't say anything.

Kale stared at Blaze for a long moment before slowly reaching out and wrapping his fingers around the front of her shirt.

Blaze glanced down before looking back at him.

Kale attempted to pull her closer but it didn't appear to be working very well.
