Nic grunted a little when Laurel smushed his face, rolling to try and get away.

So Laurel's hand hit pressed against the back his head head as her leg went on top him, stretching out.

Nic reached behind him to push Laurel away.

There was a screech followed by a loud thump followed by a few cusses.

It took Nic a little while to flip over and blink open his eyes.

He got quite a glare from Laurel who was rubbing the back of her head and sitting on the ground.

Nic stared at her for a moment before looking at the bed and then looking back at her as if wondering how she got there.

Laurel continued to glare indignantly.

Nic continued to look confused.

Laurel let out a little huff before crossing her arms, "I... don't sleep well alone." she finally muttered, "You didn't have to shove me off the couch." she eyed him again.

It took Nic another moment to catch up. "... What?" he asked. It was more of a startled reaction than an actual question.

Laurel resumed her glare as she rubbed her head again.

After another minute, Nic tried to explain, "... It's not a good idea for us to sleep together."

Laurel snorted, "Obviously. You just shoved me off the couch." she repeated. She seemed a bit hung up on that face.

Yeah, he'd need to devise a game plan. "... I didn't know you were there," he argued, since that was all she was thinking about.

Laurel stared at him for a moment but it looked like she believed him, "What's so wrong with it?" she said defensively, "I didn't do anything."
