the general thing is
non subject= does not drink from, can hypnotise, shares nothing
partial sub= can get an idea of thoughts though only in passing and at close range, drinks in small doses can partially hypnotise
paired= can exchange thoughts at close range, drinks from, can influence but not hpnotise exchanges thoughts/feelings/etc
fledgling, exchanges thoughts freely, exchanges fluids, blah, blah
